oh you mean the kind of spearman that throws a spear. which is actually called a javelin...anyway, that wouldnt be such a good idea. spearmen typically did not carry multiple spears, so you would throw your spear, then have to go get it, then throw it again. little bit tedious, no?

nah, you are a little bit off. i would say that the hand armor would be wrist wrappings (you see them alot in boxing) and the actual weapon would be either knuckles like you said, or some sort of bladed/spiked gauntlet, or just a simple hand/knuckle wrapping. the actual armor would just cover the forearm.

Wheres your Alchemist AJ!
I thought he was the coolest, brewing potions to buff other players.

I modified it a bit....
It is actually more or less a check list for me to write/reviese the class ideas that I have. And since I cann't set my mind on one, thus this thread.
Some class might look like repeat of exisiting, but that is the challenge, in how to make it unique, with its own role, and still intersting to play. If have time, maybe try to do a Dragoon, since that still eluded me..... so far attribute/skill line in consideration are:
Mount Dragon: Ride a land-dragon (lots special condition to go with that)
Breath: close range cone area elemental attacks
Lance/Spear Mastery: Piercing attack, better for single target
Polearm Mastery: wilder range of attack, better for multi target
Bravery(?): self buffs and defense.
But need something more to make it more differnt... suggestions?

Druid....it just has to be added. No question about it. Think of the possibilities like plant, weather and animal control. Entangling roots, lightning storm, treant pet perhaps, thorn armour, bark skin, toxins ...oooh the list goes on.
Warlock, summon demon, demon flesh, curses, fire and shadow damage, voodoo magic of sorts demon blade, immunities to poison and disease
Oh the joys of Druids and Walocks

I've got to go with the revised version of the Engineer. It's not the initial post in the Engineer thread, more the final two or three posts in that thread.
I'd like to see Engineer simply because then Dennis Hopper could say "Pop quiz, hotshot. I just strapped a bomb to your chest. What do you do?"

All I really want to see are:
1.-A Dual swords/axe concept (of course turn imbalance if it were to be implemented at this stage of the game)
( Mostly, I would like to see: )
2. -A 2 hand req. Sword master (Berserker) concept. (hammer is blunt, use same aspects as what is done for hammers, but with a pierce type with greater atk than normal 1 hand swords, etc.)
